My focus is simple: real food, grown with care, for the local community.
Clew Bay Farm is my small, chemical-free market garden in Rosclave, near Newport in County Mayo. Everything I grow is started by hand in my propagation tunnel, nurtured through the seasons, and harvested fresh to order. The garden is divided into outdoor beds and a main polytunnel where I raise salads, tomatoes, kale, strawberries, and other seasonal crops. Every seedling is grown here, every bed is hand-weeded, and every harvest is picked by hand. I follow regenerative, low-impact methods and avoid all chemical sprays and synthetic fertilisers. Healthy soil and biodiversity are at the centre of everything I do. My aim is to provide fresh, honest produce for households, restaurants, and markets in Rosclave, Newport, and the surrounding area and to help strengthen a local, community-focused food system.
